I have been tasked with producing wayfinding ideas for NEIT as to make getting to the GD(Graphic Design) suite, formally known as GMW(Graphic Media & Web Design) easier for the newly enrolled as well as visitors. This task also entailed me making a logo for the GD suite and all five of its parts, as well as making a kiosk mock-up for the department.
Where The Kiosk Would Be
The kiosk would go in the center of the main area where you would enter. One the kiosk would be an introductory statement as well as info on how to use it. Clicking on the images would expand them, and clicking on the room names at the bottom would show you specific direction on how to get there. This would be further supported by the corresponding icons that represent each part of the GD suite next to the room names.
